Requirements include five years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, repairing and maintaining industrial machinery, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, forklifts, support equipment, building and grounds. Performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities, prioritizes and schedules work, purchases repair parts and supervises employees.
Requires the ability to safely and frequently move and handle heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more; ability to maneuver materials in facility; ability to climb and work from elevated work stations such as ladders and scaffolds; ability to work for long periods of time standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling. Must be able to read and understand a variety of technical documents such as blueprints, technical drawings, sketches, spec records, operating and maintenance manuals.

Your mission
The Mold Tech is responsible for daily mold installations, production start up and shut down, robot start up and setup at our Columbus, IN manufacturing facility. Candidates should be willing to work nights and weekends as required.
Key responsibilities
•Verify correct set-up of molds, processes and auxiliary equipment prior to start up.
•Establish proper molding conditions.
•Perform process monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure product is consistent with quality and production standards.
•Ability to tear down, clean and reassemble molds for PM or insert change.
•Read and follow daily production schedule and prioritize work for improved efficiency.
•Complete documentation for molds for maintenance, repair and storage.
•Perform scientific molding studies (viscosity, gate seal, pressure drop, water flow, etc.).
Your profile
Education
•High school diploma or GED required. Technical degree or Master Molder I certification highly preferred.
•Ability to successfully complete RJG Systematic Molding training course within 12 months.
Experience
•Minimum 3 years hands-on injection molding experience required.
Physical Demands
•Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
•Must be able to stand, squat, bend, twist, kneel and walk as required.
•Ability to wear all required PPE
