Property tax is an interesting challenge. Is it state or local taxation? Does the customer pay the tax direct or do they reimburse Infinity?

Plastic Parts, Inc.: You need to be very up front with the employee that they may be subject to tax for any amount of the monthly allowance that is above and beyond the documented costs of running their vehicle. This will require careful documentation of all costs and/or mileage, and you will have to report those payments to them, probably via a 1099. Further, there are IRS rules about what mileage is permissible. For instance, since they are a direct employee, travel to and from your facility would not be personal mileage if you provide them an office space. If they provide their own office space at home, this mileage would be business miles.

The process technician’s mission is to properly set-up, start-up and optimize plastic injection molds on PMT’s production floor, using established procedures and standards to ensure no damage to the mold occurs and a quality part is produced. Enforces start-up and re-start procedures
Explains instructions to Operators, working closely with the Lead Operator
Performs process troubleshooting
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED certification
On-the-job training
Prior Mold Set-Up experience

Blueprint reading & standard metrology knowledge
Ability to use measuring instruments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to work with molding machine operators, as well as with molding machinery and molds
Full understanding of instructions and visual aids in the Molding Technician Manual
Demonstrated knowledge of job-specfic tools, including molding machine controllers, moisture analyzers, etc.
Strong safety skills, including an understanding of Lock Out/TagOut (LOTO)

Ironwood Plastics, Inc.: Shift schedules
Ironwood Plastics, Inc.: Currently we run 24/7. We have three shifts during the week that are 8 hour shifts. The weekend shift is two 12 hour days with one 8 hour shift during the week. The weekend shift is a very small crew that keeps presses with capacity issues running.
We are looking to get more capacity out of the weekend shift. I would like to know if anyone is running a 24/7 operation with 12 hour shifts. Or something similar to keep the full plant running, verses running a skeleton crew on the weekends. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
