Infinity Molding & Assembly: Opioids
Troy Nix: Scott, in July we held our 5th Environmental, Safety and Health Summit with great success. Nearly 100 people in attendance – one of the highest rated events we do.
During this event we had a return speaker discuss Drugs and Alcohol in the workplace; she is as close to an expert on the subject that I know – her knowledge base is truly unbelievable. Here is what she said about your posting:
"I have not had one company remove opiates from the list, and it is protected on the ADA( American Disabilities Act), but Ohio has been changing the regulations since February 2017. The new changes will reduce 1.9 million RX opiates/opioid prescriptions. Doctors will have to take additional education and training to be able to write Opiate/Opioid RXs and they are only able to write them for 7 days adults and 5 days for children. Chronic pain users will have to see a pain management doctor for their chronic pain. Not sure if this helps but if you need anything else please do not hesitate to contact me."

Legacy Custom Plastics: Core Deflection with flexible materials
Legacy Custom Plastics: Having a core deflection problem using a flexible PVC. Has anybody had a similar issue and what did you do to overcome it. We have tried everything we can think of with runner balancing using the Melt-Flipper technology to achieve a good shear balance at each gate. 4 cavity mold, two cavities are acceptable and two are not. Any thoughts or ideas appreciated!
